View remote desktop

Hello,
I want to create an application that allows me to view another users
desktop in realtime. I tried sending screenshots at a certain interval of
time but it was too slow. Someone suggested me to use GDI Hooks but I dont
know exactly what that means, he also told me about installing a "virtual
display driver" on the client machine.

If anybody has any suggestions or ideas please let me know. Iam willing to
hire if someone is able to this for me in C#.

Thanks.
Jose.

Look at VNC -- it is an open-source desktop sharing app on a variety of
platforms, including windows. It won't be in C#, but it should point you in
the right direction.

Thanks a lot Julie, Ive made a little test and it seems they are using
GDIHooks to acomplish this and although its faster than sending screenshots,
Ive seen other programs do this way faster. Still, this is a lot of help
thank you.
