Problems With Form

[FAAD]

hi, i have a form linked to a microsoft SQl Server db (a Hospital System), i
have bind the controls on the form, i have written the update command,
created navigation buttons,i have included form validation so that user
inputs the must fields, now when i run the application its runs properly but
when i change a field value from the from(FOR Example Data in a text Field) n
press update button its says that Select WardNo (WardNo is a Combo Box) (As i
told that i have included Validation so that no field is empty) but the ward
field is Filled with data its not empty then y is .net prompting an error
