(Very) Custom rendering/painting

Hello,

Can anyone suggest a solution to my problem. I have a number of irregularly
shaped, overlapping, semi transparent controls. When these controls are
resized (which they are, constantly) and moved (so that after a resize their
centre point remains the same) there is flickering around the edge of the
controls Region. Also I am limited by the fact that truly transparent
controls are not seeming properly supported, meaning at the moment i am
trying a number of workarounds with limited success. Is there any way of
using the controls for interaction (capturing mouse clicks, etc), but
rendering them by iteratively calling their paint methods (through some
added public accessor) from the parent control. What methods should i look
at overriding to achieve this, and has anyone tried it? Or are there any
other suggestions?

Thanks,

Alex
