HOW To : change the color of a progress bar

I'm looking for info on how to change the color of a progress bar. I see the
default is blue. I thought I could use backcolor or forecolor but both those
functions are overriden. Does that mean I can't change the color?

You could use XP Styles to get the bright green that Windows XP progress
bars have. However, I am not sure of any other way to get a be able to
change the color without writing your own control. An example of writing a
custom ProgressBar control can be found at:
