Word count in string pls help.????

Hi i just wanted to knw the quickest way, of obtaining a count of the
number of words in a string?

Also how could I then output these words to a file, with only one word
on each line in file, in alphabetical order , the first letter of the
word capitalised and with no duplicates? Any help would be much
appreciated. Thanks

Apparently, the quickest way is to post your homework in a newsgroup.

I remember seeing the same question about C++ 10 years ago, and I'm
willing to bet large wads of cash that 20 years ago it was Pascal.

To quote my former CEO, "It was at that moment that I knew I had a great
future in managment."
