selectiong data from a populated list box

ISSUE:- I have a drop down box and a list box and the list box gets
populated according to the selections made in the drop down combo box.
Now the issue is that i am unable to select multiple values in the
list box and save them to the DB. The AutoPostBack for the list box
has been set to false as on selection we must not have a refreshed
page.

Currently I am unable to save my selections. Any help would be cool!!!
