tom.ITextRange Find Regular Expression does not seem to work

Does the ITextDocument interface on the DLL
the RichTextBox is built on supports regular expressions?
Documentation seems to support using Regular expressions.
I can't make it work.

Is there any problem using the tom interface with a RichTextBox handle?
Seems to work Ok.

What version of the underlying control is used in the RichTextBox?
Thanks a lot
