User Interface Process (UIP) App Block & Windows Form

ddh
I'm new to Windows forms and UIP. Have a couple of questions:

1. Can you have the new form displayed in the same location as the
previous form instead of at a new location
when navigating?

2. I would like my main form to have a list of LinkLabels
down the left hand side (may be changed to a tree later).
Then based on the link selected. Show the selected form on the right
side of the screen. When changing selection, want to use the same main
form but want to instantiate the selected form and its associated
controller. Is this out of the scope of UIP. All of the QuickStart
examples show simple forms that navigate from one form to the next,
whereas I only want a portion of my main form to be replaced.

You are looking for a wizard framework:

Here is article 6, but you can follow it back to article 1 and read
through them. Panels or UserControl's would probably be your
friend if you just want to replace a part of your main form based
on some left-side selection.
