CLR Inclusion

Which Windows operating systems and service packs include the CLR?

Guadala,

I believe right now, only Windows 2003 includes the .NET framework on
installation. All others have to install it manually. I don't know if
Windows SP2 (due out soon) will include it or not.

Hope this helps.

What about Desktops? Doesn't XP/Pro include it? How about 2000 Pro/SP4?

Thanks.

Guadala,

From what I can tell, none of the service packs include it automatically
yet.

XP Pro definitely doesn't neither does SP 1.
