Problem with growing mydata.ldb

Friends,

I have a problem that results into an unhandles OleDbExceptionghandling
error.
This error will not get caught in a Try-catch construction.
I noticed that Mydata.ldb file is groing very rapidly and when it reaches
4096 bytes the error occurs.
the error always occurs on the following statement
OleDbCommand cmdSQL = new OleDbCommand(sSQL, cnnSCORE);
Some questions:

1 . does anyone recognises this problem?
2. What can I do to avoid the .ldb file to grow?
3. Is it nescesarry to close a datareader?
4. When leaving a class do I have to close a connection?

Regards
