foregin key constraints

Hello,

I have a number of tables which I am trying to create relationships between
using the dataset at design time.

When I create a relationship and then try to preview the data I get "failed
to enable constaraints. one or more rows contain vales violating unique or
foreign key constrains" when I try and fill the dataset. I get this red
exclamation mark next to each record telling me tthat the adapter requires
the child key values to exist in the parent table.

The values do exist and they are the same type (int) - although in the
access database they are set to "number - long integer" so Im not sure why
the dataset sets them as (int)...

What am I doing wrong?? I first tried getting a combo box to dynamically
update and found that I had to create a relationship and base its datasource
on that relationship but I cant get a relationship going between tables..
very frustrating!

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks,
Grant
