Why is the application giving focus to another control??? It's driving me crazy...

P: n/a
I have a Win application with two child windows (formX and formY) that are
both opened when the application loads. formX has a multi-line textbox that
I use to enter an address, and two button controls (one processes the
address, the other clears the textbox).
If I start working on this form (typing the address and processing it with
one of the two buttons), everything works fine. If I then go to formY (to do
something entirely different) and then click on the inside of of the
multi-line textbox in formX (to type another address), when I hit <Enter>
inside of the multiline textbox to type the second line of the address,
it'll execute the code in the Process button. In other words, I can't add
any more lines to the address because the cursor won't jump to the next
line.
I know it has something to do with the focus when I switch between windows,
but I have no idea how to fix it. The worst part is it doesn't happen in my
development PC, so I have no way of debugging it from my machine. And this
has happened in other situations also. Why?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
