Graphics + printing (Fairly rookie question)

I am working on a project that needs to have a scrollable display area.
In this area I want to put text and a bar graph.

I have looked at all of the tutorials I can find and can "paint" onto a
form canvas, but I need to do this to a scrollable window. I have already
used the picture box control and can scroll an image that has been loaded
from a tif/bmp. What I cannot do is create my own large "canvas" in memory
and then display a selected rectangle from it.

In summary the project needs to:

Phase 1.
Have a viewable/ scrollable canvas (Like a viewport)

Phase 2.
Duplicate this graphics and text onto a document

Phase 3.
Be able to split this up onto multiple A4 pages if they get too large for a
singe sheet.

Can anybody provide either a tutorial that covers this, code snippets or
advise. I waded thru lines of code, but always come back to its easy to
draw on a fixed size control, but the "viewport" concept beats me
completely.

Regards Eric
