My favorite search engine is still google :o)

For the forums, I know two of them :
http://www.mastercoder.net/index.php

http://www.vbcity.com/forums/
Even for C# and vb.

But, the microsoft newsgroups are stills the best place to have answer.

That would be Opera :P

Well, I suppose google is the correct answer, but Opera is tied to google
using g in front of the search words in the address line (or a, s, l, sb,
z, e, c, w, d, i, v, m, r, n, o, f, but I usually only do g for google, or
the occasional s for split screen google and alltheweb search)

Happy coding!

To search for newsgroup posts, use groups.google.com.

Well, I have been using it for a few years, and I use it right now for
news browsing.

It might be because it is developed by a Norwegian company, and being a
Norwegian myself ...
But I also like the fact that it is the browser that appears to supports
most web standards around (though I notice Mozilla seems to claim the
same).

I haven't tried Mozilla firefox, but I have noticed a few threads arguing
which is the better, and what I have seen of the features in Firefox,
there isn't much new stuff compared to Opera, and in fact it seems to
implement stuff that you could use in Opera for quite some time :P Then
again, I don't know how long Mozilla had these features either.
Happy coding!
