Serialization of a class - bug or feature?

Hi,

I created a class like:

namespace SerializerTest

{

[Serializable()]

public class CSerializableTest

{

public int m_iMemberToSerialize = 0;

public string m_sSerializable = "";

public bool m_bBoolean = false;

public string m_sAdditionalString = "";
[NonSerialized()]

public string m_sNonSerializableMember = "";
It's very interesting for me but the XML string is still having a
"m_sNonSerializableMember" member and its value. Why? If the member is not
seriaizable why serializer write it into XML ? By the way, it doesn't
retrieve this string from XML.

Thanks,
Dmitri
