Transalate CRC 16 - C#

Can someone get this code working in C# I can't seem to get it to work

here is the originall C++... I converted this code to VBscript at one
point... I don`t know who the original author is... However, I am just
starting to teach myself c# and I am trying to go over an old project I
once did... If anyone can help it would be create thanks
