datagrid scrollbars not displayed in Test machine (but works fine in development PC)

In my "Test" PC (that only contains framework v1.1), the application does
not display the vertical scrollbars when the amount of rows goes beyond the
space reserved for the datagrid. So there's really no way for me to view the
non-displayed records. The vertical scrollbar is displayed after I resize a
column (apparently a refresh of the grid). This does not happen in my
development PC. How come?

I've also had a few other discrepancies (eg. a databound comboBox doesn't
open correctly in the Testing PC) but this one with the datagrid is the mot
important.

I'm using framework v1.0 and Studio .Net 2002.

Thanks.
