Can I access the logon ID?

I am creating a file that will be uploaded to the mainframe for which a
requirement is the id of the person who created it. Rather than have them
key it in, I prefer to use the logon id of the user who created the file.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Doesn't get much simpler than that.
