How to pause ElapsedEventHandler

public void StartTimer()
{
System.Timers.Timer myTimer = new System.Timers.Timer();
myTimer.Interval =
Convert.ToDouble(ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings["Interval"]);
myTimer.Elapsed += new
System.Timers.ElapsedEventHandler(this.myTimer_Ela psed);
myTimer.Enabled = true;
}

protected void myTimer_Elapsed(object sender, System.Timers.ElapsedEventArgs

How about Timer.Stop() and Timer.Start().
