Dropdown finds index in Datagrid

Hi,
I have a search mechanism on a form that returns customer names in a drop
down.
I also have a datagrid with all the customers beneath that search. I wanna
br able to highlight the row (SlectedItem) of that customer when the user
chooses the customer from the drop down menu.

(I am using pages so the customer could be on a different page)
I tried DataGrid.SelectedIndex = (the customer ID) but off course this
doesn't wotk, because I need a way to tell the DG that the index is the
DataKeys value of that row..How should I do it?
Thx
