Strange behaviour with Process.WaitForExit

I have a small C# application that is supposed to install MSDE Rel A
and then run my application's install. I start the MSDE setup.exe
using Process.Start, and then wait for it using Process.WaitForExit.

When I wait for it, it never completes but hangs when it tries to
spawn another process itself, sqlredis.exe. If I remove the
WaitForExit call, setup.exe and sqlredis.exe both complete normally,
but I lose control.

This seems to be a fairly common problem with MSDE, but so far I have
yet to find one solution.
