Q: About [PropertyNames]

Sky
Lately when perusing the net I've noticed some VB code that had properties
that were defined as [MyProperty] (ie, wrapped in square brackets).

I was wondering if the sq.brackets tells the compiler something, and is
shorthand for some attribute or something, etc. Or is just an acceptable
character for a property name.

And of course, whether it can be used in C#...

Thanks!
