What to use for sorting

Hi,

I something to store filename and date in, so i can sort, but i don't know
what to use.
Any suggestions?

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. foreach(string file in Directory.GetFiles("c:\\nt6"))
  2. {
  3. // i've got the filename
  4. DateTime created ;
  5. created = System.IO.File.GetCreationTime(file).ToLongDateString() ;
  6.
  7. // Now i want to store the filenames and datetimes so i can sort by
  8. datetime DESC
  9. // And the in a new foreach loop display them
  10. }
  11.

Jeroen,

Perhaps you can use a HashTable that is organized with a key-data format.
The date-time strings are the keyis the and the filenames are the data.
I think there is a built-in sort method. Start here;
