question about resources

Hi,
I saw in the SharpDevelop source code the syntax highlighting
definitions are defined in XML files and are compiled in the
assembly. I would like to have the content of a simple text file
available as string in my assembly. Can somebody tell me how
to do this?

Thanks,
Frank
