Redemption + SenderID of a mail item

Hi
I ma trying to get mailid of the 'from' address in .NET. When i try to
access mailitem i could only see 'senderName' available both in
Outlook mailitem and Redemption. No senderid.

Tried accessing contacts but how to get the id of SenderName who is
not in contact?

How to get SenderId either by using redemption or not??

Thanks
Anushya

See http://www.slipstick.com/dev/code/getsenderaddy.htm . It's VB/VBScript
code, not C#, but you'll see how you have to either access the MAPI Fields
collection with CDO or Redemption or create a reply message and use the
address from that message's Recipients collection.
