I've got an application that a couple of users want to start testing.
But the database is still running off the localhost on my development
system. I planned on writing a webservice to handle the production
system but it's not done yet. The app is a Windows forms app and a
couple of supporting web pages that both access the same database
(currently in Access 2000). This is the first time the users will be
testing it and I don't want to convert it to SQL Server yet or do the
web service until we're pretty certain that it's working the way they
want.
How do I set it up so my users can access the database and webpages and
test without a webservice? (The obvious solution would be to install
.NET on one of the systems.) We do have an IIS Development server but
our webmaster is new and has only used a webservice so he doesn't have
an answer.
