Main form of tray app is always visible under NT?

I created a tray application and everything works as expected when I run it
under Windows XP. However, when I try the application on a PC running
Windows NT, the main application form is visible as a minimized window just
above the Start button. I've set the FormBorderStyle to FixedToolWindow, set
Minimized to true, ShowInTaskbar to false and Opacity to 0. In my particular
application, the main window is never intended to be visible; menus accessed
through the tray icon open other windows I've defined. This all works fine
for XP, and in fact the Opacity property is really the key here. This
property doesn't seem to have an effect on Windows NT however. The hack I'm
using for now is to move the main app window off the screen but that's
pretty ugly. Does anyone have a suggestion how to solve this problem?
