intellisense not always working

P: n/a
I've noticed that sometimes intellisense doesn't work in my C#
solution.
This is a large dll that is being built.
There are no compiler errors or anything else that indicates problems.

But sometimes if I press F12 or right click and select "Go To
Definition", I get an error message box stating "Cannot navigate to
'MyVariable'". Yet the variable is defined earlier in the same method.

My work around is to do a control shift F3 to find any previous text
string.

I remember in the old VC6 days I was able to delete a .ncb file (or
some extension like that) and that would re-initialize the project
database.

Is there any workaround of fix for .net?

Thanks.
