How do I make the bool column "unchecked" by default instead of
"greyed out" (indeterminate)? Here's the code for the bool column:

BoolColFinished = new DataGridBoolColumn();
BoolColFinished.MappingName = "finished";
BoolColFinished.HeaderText = "done";
BoolColFinished.FalseValue = false;
BoolColFinished.TrueValue = true;
BoolColFinished.AllowNull = false;

Are you using a DataSet? Set in the XML of the DataTable a default value: <
.... default=false>
