Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Registeresd JIT debugger is not avaialble:

After executing an application I get the Error:

Registered JIT debugger is not available..An attempt to launch a jit
debugger with the following command resulted in an error code of
0x2(2).please check the computer settings.

Ok, I have a solution:

First produce a debug version of your application.exe.

In a directory C:\Program Files\Microsoft.NET\SDK\v1.1\GuiDebug\ you
find the debugger: DbgCLR.exe

After starting the debugger, you choose your application.exe with Menu:
Debug->Programm To Debug.

You can choose the *.exe with [...]<-Button, and the working directory.

Go again in the Menu->Debug->Step Into. Usualy there popup a Menu,
informing you that the sources are not available at the original place.

Just copy your sources whereever you mean to, and choose new sources
directory.

Now the debugger will start the application and go through your sources
as it proceedes.

Thx

I ask myself how you debug your applications? Do you debug them always
without a debugger? Why could'nt anybody answer me this simple question?
