ADO.Net DataSet - crosstab reporting recommendations?

P: n/a
I have a populated, typed ADO.Net DataSet in c# code.
I would like to create an efficient cross-tab style
of report using the minimal amount of hand-coding.

What is the current best practice for making such a report?
I have VS.Net 2003 - and I tried the Crystal Reports object.
Unfortunately, the performance when creating the report was too slow - I
have quite a bit of data.

If anyone has a link to a white-paper or some code that does something
similar, I would appreciate it.

table1 ( t_id, b_id )
table2 ( s_id )
table3 ( s_id, t_id, dbl_value )

want report looking like:
b_id1 .... b_idn
s_id1 aggregated value)
s_id2 .....

Thanks, Kevin

Hi Kevin,

You migh create dataset that would hold crosstab values and put there data
manually.
