real time dcom

P: n/a

I am driving a printer and reading camera information from a dcom server
in real time. My problem is the thread that drives the printer interferes
with the thread receiving the dcom camera packet so that I don't get the
packet in the 410ms window I need it in. I have tried putting long sleep
intervals of up to 390ms per page in the printing thread. That seemed to
help a little, but still didn't get the job done. How can I configure dcom
and/or rewrite my program to get the camera packets in real time?
