C# and custom text presentation

Hi

I am new to C# and i am wondering if there is an easy way of writing a
text editor, with certain keywords in different colour from the rest of
the text (like Visual Studio does). Does C# make this easy? If so how?

The RichTextBox control is probably what you want to do. You can track
events like KeyDown or many of the other events and check the text, if it
matches your words, you can change the selection's color or font etc...this

Addtionally, C# is a language of .Net Platform, it uses the .Net's common
programming model.
So if you want to learn C#, I think you also need to know much about .Net
Framework.
