monitoring hardware status... ?

hi everyone i need to write a program that monitors cpu temperature and fan
speeds, etc... i looked everyone in the web but i couldnt find any
information about this... how can i do that?

Check out WMI. I'm not 100% sure it allows for this, but there are device
extensions that
should be available if your hardware maker took the time to write them. You may
want to
contact your hardware vendor just to double check. You may need to run a new
installer
program with updated drivers.
