Anyone heard of Thinstall?

here's a link:

http://thinstall.com/

I want something that allows me to run my .net based apps on locked
down pc's at work where we can't install the .net framework. This
sounds like it would work, but at one heck of a price. Has anyone
seen any similar applications? preferrably for less, a LOT loss

I have it, i like it a lot. It works.

As for cheaper alternatives, no I have not seen any.

One more thing about thinstall, and this is the one thing I hate about it:
When you install it, it "phones home" to the maker of the tool in order to
run successfully. This may or may not bother you, but it's a pain in the
ass for me, I wipe and re-install my O/S often and I worry about what
happens when the company is not there to receive my phone call and I need
to use thinstall that very moment.
