Modules in cache? Not clearing out issue

I have a program that has an auto-update feature in that it check for new
updates, and launches an update program when there is a new version. This
update program ensures the process is closed before copying the new files,
and then copies those files and re-launches the program. I know for a fact
that the new files (executable and several modules) are being copied
(verified dates and times), however when the program launches, it often is
still using the older modules instead of the newly copied modules. If I
shut the program down and re-launch it, it will use the newly copied
modules. It seems as if the modules are staying in the system's cache for a
few seconds and not completely unloading before I re-launch the updated
program. Does anyone know how I can either force the program to load the
new modules, or clear out the systems cache (if this is the issue) after I
copy the files??

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Bob Dankert
