Forwarding All Headers To Authorities

I don't know who's monitoring these groups and sending the viruses
(disguised as MS updates) to e-mail addresses of users on these groups...but
I'm forwarding all the headers to the authorities...

Suggest you stop now...

I very much doubt that humans are involved in the gathering of the email
addresses. This is just a clever virus going through everything on the
victims' hard drive (including news archives) and sending itself out to
anything that looks like an email address...

Andreas

Tom,

I found out the hard way not to put your real email address on ANY
public newsgroups/forum/etc several years ago... You can either put a fake
email address in your NNTP client, or use the web interface which
automatically makes you an*******@discussions.microsoft.com. I bet you get
a load of spam after starting to post here with your real email address. If
you NEED to put your email address in a public forum, then disguise it so
that a program can't detect it i.e. "tjenkinsATcentersoftcomDOTcom". If a
human wanted to reply to your post via email and knows anything about an
email address they can figure it out.
