Ordinal of a number

Hi, there

Is there a function to obtain the ordinal of a number? i.e. "first",
"second", etc

Thanks

Hi,

AFAIK there isn't. And think about localization, that would be quite
complicated to be handled with all languages/dialects with their different
rules for creating ordinals.

If you want any possible number spelled out (i.e. Four Hundred Twenty
Four Thousandth), check out this code for starters:

http://www.geocities.com/fchamieh/numberspeller.html

It's javascript but wouldn't be too hard to convert.
