Help in .net(c#)

Hi,

I am tryign to create a help on basis of controls. when I
press F1 on that control help topic related t that
control should be displayed. I read that for that we need
to provide HelpContextID to that control. But, what i
need help for is how can we assign that HelpContextID to
particulat topic in help file. How to create a help file
first of all? I couldn't find a sample which gve step by
step explanation. There is very little mension about this
in msdn help fiel also.

So, if anyone could please guide me on this. It would be
really helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Help files can be created with Microsoft Help Workshop. To the best of my
knowledge, it's free and can be downloaded from the Microsoft website. You
can ask help authoring-related questions in the
microsoft.public.vstudio.helpauthoring newsgroup.
