File.Delete does it block?

I am inside a timer thread and have found that File.Delete is not blocking.
File.Delete(x)
Checkitexists(x) = true
Checkitexists(x) = true
Checkitexists(x) = false

Not a problem but it would be nice to be warned in the documentation.

Hi Sea,

Very possible:

"The DeleteFile function marks a file for deletion on close. Therefore, the
file deletion does not occur until the last handle to the file is closed.
Subsequent calls to CreateFile to open the file fail with
ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED."

From platform SDK.
