Problem with ENVDTE

I am using the ENVDTE object of dot net for a tool creation for Find and replace like tool.

this works fine during debug mode but gives problems when u run it outside the development environment. it does not process the execute method sometimes. it happens quite often

some times it works fine

otherwise what u need to do it specify a breakpoint at

dte.find.excute to get the job done, what could be the problem

is it some property which needs to be initialized so that it works well in run mod

pls reply asa
