Is there any way to read PDF file?

I need to read PDF Files... I actually need the text itself inside the PDF
File....

Is there any C# component or class?

Thanks,

E.T.

Hi,

I guess there's a open source project in Source Forge
that supports this - iTextSharp
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/itextsharp/)
May be you can check the source code to see
how they extract the text from a PDF file.

sourceforge.net usually has things like that. There is about just over
1000 C# projects there alone now.

Also look at iFilter from Adobe, I don't know what it does, but I know it
allows you to do searching through PDF's with databases, not sure if it has
anything usable.
