MSDN Architect or Developer

What are the main advantages to a developer in purchasing Visual Studio .NET
Enterprise Architect over Visual Studio .NET Developer.

I know of the web sites - just would like some developer opinions.
thanks.

Application Center Test (ACT), a few extra tweaks for data and Visio
Enterprise Architect are the main benefits. At the price, an MSDN Universal
subscription is a better deal, as you get SQL Server, et al, thrown in for a
few bucks more.

Hi,

Visual Studio .NET is available in Professional, Enterprise Developer, and
Enterprise Architect editions.
The choosing of suitable edition of VS.net based on many factors, such as
development need, edition price, etc.
For your comparison of Enterprise Architect and Enterprise Developer
edition, Architect has more feature on Microsoft Visio¨Cbased database
modeling, Visio-based UML application modeling, Enterprise template project
type, Microsoft BizTalk Server.
You should check if your development need these feature in your product.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/ho.../choosing.aspx provides you a
fully suggestion and comparison of choosing edition for VS.net
I think it will greatly help you make choice.

Hope this helps,
Best regards,
Jeffrey Tan
