UNC File Path

Dan
I have a Windows service that monitors various
directories, via the FileSystemWatcher, for the creation
of new files. The service works great. I am able to stop
and start it via the SCM and it responds. However, when
the server that the service resides on is rebooted, I get
an error with the service starts. The error stated that my
directory is invalid. I am using UNC paths for the
directories. I suspect that some service that Windows
relys on to resolve the UNC path has not started yet which
causes my service to have problems. Is there anyway I can
control what order services are started in?

I am sure I could contstruct a loop that cycles until I
can access the UNC without generating an exception but
then I run the risk of getting a timeout message when the
service starts.

Does anyone have any insight into this or any suggestions.
Thanks!
