Combo box always focused ?

Why is it that, if there is a combo box on the main form, it gets the focus
initially, regardless of which other element we have set the focus to?

It was always focused, or at least the text in it was already selected.

Whatever it was, it went away when I changed DropDownStyle from DropDown to
DropDownList.
