creating a new user control with vs.net

Hi,

Does anyone aware of the fact that when creating a user control on
vs.net, it automatically create the class with the ABSTRACT keyword?
i.e.:
public abstract class MyUserControl: System.Web.UI.UserControl
{

private void Page_Load(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
{
// Put user code to initialize the page here
}

#region Web Form Designer generated code
override protected void OnInit(EventArgs e)
{
