Remoting and Timer

Dear friends,

following is my problem.

A remoting object ( clock ) is windowless and a singleton. It is
started from a windows form. The object has a time embedded. The
timer.elapsed set a boolean var to true.

A client can connet to the remoting object. It tries get the value of
that var. But the var is always false, it is likely that the elapsed
method has never been called.

Is it a thread problem ?
thanks

Z.
