C# Conversion Buffer Overflow

Please help because this bug is driving me nuts. Ok I am getting
Conversion Buffer Overflow exception but I have no idea why or how to
fix it. My code looks something like this (C#)
TcpClient tcpSendRecieveTo = new TcpClient(…);

NetworkStream ns = tcpSendReceiveTo.GetStream();

byte[] dataToSend = transferData.getDataBytes();
BinaryWriter binaryWriterClient = new BinaryWriter(ns);
BinaryReader binaryReaderClient = new BinaryReader(ns);
binaryWriterClient.Write(dataToSend);
binaryWriterClient.Flush();

while(nRead >0)
{
//****** this is where the exception happens
nRead = binaryReaderClient.Read();
}
