How to create Exchange Account for Contact?

P: n/a
Hello!

I'm trying to develop an application to manage email-forwardings on an
Exchange 2000 Server.

Forwardings to external Addresses are requiring a contact with an
Exchange account. I can create the contact in the Active Directory, but
when I try to create an Exchange Account, I get this error (translated
from German):

"Die angegebene Umwandlung ist
ungŁltig."

(The specified conversion is not valid.)

Here is my Code:

string homeMDB = ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings["homeMDB"];

CDOEXM.IMailboxStore mailbox;

mailbox = (IMailboxStore) deNewUser.NativeObject;

mailbox.CreateMailbox(homeMDB);

deNewUser.Properties["proxyAddresses"].Add("SMTP:" + txtEMail.Text);

deNewUser.CommitChanges();
The error appears on the line "mailbox = (IMailboxStore)
deNewUser.NativeObject;".

I can create Exchange Accounts for normal users with this code, why
doesn't it work for contacts?

Thank you very much for your help.
