MSComm

I'm using MSComm only reading data from a serial port (OnComm even).
When the event is fired I have the data loading in a listbox. No
problem except that the data being transferred is not always displayed
in the same format.

Good Example:

021458400000 2003/08/24 12:30:33 03/01/01 12:00:33 MEMORYLOST
OK
029976400000 2003/08/24 12:30:33 03/01/01 12:00:33 MEMORYLOST
OK
022234400000 2003/08/24 12:30:33 03/01/01 12:00:33 MEMORYLOST
OK

Data should be displayed in this format each time. There is a
carriage return after each line. In the initialization of the com
object the threshold is set to 75. Sometimes the lines are in the
following format:

Bad Example data runover:

021458400000 2003/08/24 12:30:33 03/01/01 12:00:33 MEMORYLOST
OK||021458400000 2003/08/24 12:30:33 03/01/01 12:00:33 MEMORYLOST
OK|| 400000 2003/08/24 12:30:33 03/01/01 12:00:33 MEMORYLOST
OK

I've noticed that through execution of the app the com initialization
occurs twice. The first time capturing just the first line and the
second all other lines. Is there a reason why all data is not passed?
Is there such a thing as padding the buffer? If so how could I
implement this?

New to serial com.
